Yuki Sunada's film Dear Grandfather, I am in England, which she made while studying for an MA at Royal Holloway College, has won the prize for the 'Best Documentary' in the Imperial War Museum's third Student Film Festival.

Yuki's film explores the meaning of the Second World War for young British and Japanese people today and includes interviews with British and Japanese veterans of the bloody campaign in Burma. Unlike previous films made on the subject, she also tells the less well-known story of the successful efforts by veterans from both sides to achieve reconciliation between formerly bitter foes
